Instructions
.Combine beef, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, orange juice, pepper, salt basil, paprika and egg into a large mixing bowl. Combine ingredients with a wooden spoon. Once ingredients are mixed well together slowly add breadcrumbs until the mixture has become thick enough to pat out into patties without them falling apart.
.At this point make 4 equal sized patties.
.Now bowl each patty by gently pressing on their centers and working some of the ground beef to the sides. You don't want to leave the center to thin, just lightly bowl the patties.
.Once the patties are bowled add beer cheese to the bowls you've made out of all 4 of the patties. At this point, place a full slice of onion over 2 of the patties.
.Now it's time to press the patties together to form 2 total brew crew 6 burgers.
.Gently take a patty with only beer cheese in it and lay it beer cheese side down on a patty that has the beer cheese and onion. Do this twice to form your 2 brew crew 6 burgers.
.Slowly work the edges of them together and pat them out until they seem of the two patties combine into one. Take precaution not to pat out too much and force the beer cheese thru the top or bottom of the patty, just gently pat them back out taking your time.
.Once this is accomplished you are now ready to transport them to a hot grill or smoker.
.While grilling or smoking, ever so lightly spread some BBQ sauce on each side.
.As with any ground beef, you want to make sure the internal temperature of your burger is at least 170 degrees F. If you have ground your own sirloin for these burgers, then a temperature of 155-160 degrees F will suffice.
.You'll only want to flip your burgers once making sure to grill the initial side down a few minutes longer than the side that was originally facing up.
.Once the burger is cooked through, place it on a bun and add your favorite condiments, mayo, mustard, ketchup, etc. etc.
.We like to spread some Hellmann's mayo on the buns and add some sweet pickles on top of the patty.
.Place an olive and both varieties of peppers on the large skewer stick. Then place the stick thru your burger and the buns.
You have now made an official Brew Crew 6 Burger.
